Jaeger LeCoultre’s Unveils a New Master Control Memovox
With modern technology, watchmaking complications seem nearly endless. From HYT’s hydraulic fluid display to the Ulysse Nardin Freak’s movement that quite literally is the minutes hand, it seems that there is no end to the horological madness. One of the most unique and understated complications is the mechanical alarm. Jaeger LeCoultre’s new Master Control Memovox houses such a complication in a new, sleek design to match the alarm complication’s subtlety.

THE JUICE:
The new Master Control Memovox takes the Memovox series to a new level. It retains its telltale mechanical alarm and gives it a new set of features. Housed in a sexy pink gold case, the new Memovox adds a "timer" feature, allowing the user to set an alarm for a specific amount of time. To use this feature, the user turns the crown at 2 o’clock to point the red arrow on the dial to a corresponding number.
The number the pointer is on is the number of hours until the alarm rings. Whereas the normal Memovox alarm only rang at a specific time of day, this feature is useful in order to easily set a timer for a few hours for things like parking meters, appointments, or even cooking. The everyday uses for a timer feature are endless.
Jaeger LeCoultre breathes new life into an old model with its new Memovox. It keeps all the functionality of the mechanical alarm complication while giving it a sleek and elegant look on the wrist. JLC once again proves their expertise in creating a very well-balanced timepiece.
So how much is the Jaeger LeCoultre Master Control Memovox?
The price for the Master Control Memovox will come in at $33,600 USD.
