The H. Moser & Cie Endeavor Perpetual Calendar is unique in many ways. The case is made from tantalum and steel. Tantalum is a durable scratch-resistant metal but difficult to work with so many watchmakers don’t take the risk. H. Moser & Cie push the bar with more challenging craft choices like the Grand Feu fumé enamel dial, which creates a gradient of lighter and darker blues on this dial. The enamel pattern is engrained (hammered-like) onto a gold base with three different colors melded together. The open dial allows for the texture and pigments of the blue to be visible and unobstructed. A power reserve indicator is located on the far left at 9 o’clock, a date window at 3 o’clock, and small seconds at 6 o’clock.
