INTRODUCING: The Chopard L.U.C. XPS Forest Green
Since 1860, Chopard has produced timepieces that embrace emotion, elegance, and innovation. To that end, Chopard is releasing a new colorway in a classic collection. A timeless style, a solid movement, a case made of exclusive alloy, and a forest green sunburst dial. Those are the key features of Chopard's newest timepiece; introducing the L.U.C. XPS in Forest Green.

THE JUICE:
Part of the L.U.C. collection, the collection embraces 3 core values: technical performance, aesthetic refinement, and a commitment to certified watchmaking. One of the most distinguishing features is its size; the entire watch measures in at just 7.2mm thick - a difficult feat for a timepiece with automatic movement. The case is made of Lucent Steel, which is Chopard's exclusive alloy. Lucent Steel is made with a recycling rate of at least 80%, making it a sustainable metal.
With the L.U.C. XPS, Chopard gives wearers a versatile watch that can be for both dress and casual wear. The 40mm case and aforementioned thinness allow for almost any wrist to look stunning with this watch on it. The perfect blend of minimalism and complexity, the XPS has several off-white circles moving outward on the dial, serving as simple indices and minute markers. This design choice is a classic sector-type, which is a vintage nod to the 1930's-1950's. Bold off-white lines contrast against the sunburst-style forest green dial in nearly breathtaking fashion. The small seconds subdial matches the color of the dial but adds layering and depth to it. Surrounding the dial is a layered bezel in Lucent Steel.
Powering the L.U.C. XPS is Chopard's L.U.C. 96.12-L calibre - a movement that is chronometer-certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute. Perhaps most amazing about the movement is that Chopard included 29 jewels and reached a 65-hour power reserve with a movement thickness of just 3.3mm. The entire movement, including the bidirectional micro-rotor made of 22k ethically sourced gold is visible through the watch’s exhibition case back.
Precision, simplicity, and aesthetic design all intersect in Chopard's newest L.U.C. XPS, in Forest Green. The thoughtful style meets the thinness many watch brands can only hope to achieve in a versatile timepiece. And with a powerful movement that is chronometer-certified, this watch will help you reach the board meeting or the barbeque on-time and in-style.
