David Beckham's Watch Collection Including His Family’s Watches
David Beckham is one of the greatest soccer players of all time. During his legendary career Beckham played for the Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and even the LA Galaxy. Since his retirement in 2013, Beckham has become a global ambassador for the game as well as an ambassador for a watch brand, Tudor. Now as the President and co-owner of Major League Soccer’s Inter Miami, Beckham is trying to bring American soccer to the next level.
Because of his continued presence in the soccer world, and because of his high profile wife Victoria Beckham, we often get to see what watches Beckham has in his collection. We decided to take a look at his collection that includes pieces from Tudor, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Jacob & Co. and more. But David isn’t the only Beckham that has an affinity for high-end timepieces. We also decided to have a look at what the rest of the Beckham’s have worn, including wife Victoria and sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
David Beckham’s Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller
One of David Beckham’s favorite brands to wear when out and about is Rolex. We have spotted him in a variety of different pieces, including the classic Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller. Because of the date and lack of a cyclops, it appears that this is an older DeepSea, possibly a Ref. 116660-0001. The Ref. 116660-0001 has a ceramic bezel and 3900 meters of water resistance (12,000 feet). You can pick up a Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller Ref. 116660-0001 on the secondary market for around $13,000 USD.
David Beckham’s Rolex Daytona 116500
Perhaps the most sought after Rolex on the market is the stainless steel Daytona. The Rolex Daytona Ref. 116500 features a stainless steel oyster bracelet, ceramic bezel and screw down chronograph pushers. While the Daytona is offered with both a black and white dial, Beckham has been seen wearing the black dial model. The Rolex Daytona 116500 retails for $14,800 USD.
David Beckham’s Rolex Yacht-Master II Yellow Gold
Beckham has been spotted wearing some all gold Rolexes as well. One piece we have seen Beckham wearing is the Rolex Yacht-Master II in yellow gold. The Yacht-Master features a complicated programmable countdown timer complication meant to help when racing in a Regatta. While this complication may not be necessary for some (most) of us, it is a pretty unique feature and keeps the watch true to its name and identity. The Rolex Yacht-Master II Ref. 116688-0002 is one of Rolex’s largest watches at 44 mm. It retails for $43,500 USD.
David Beckham’s Rolex Day-Date 40
Gold and green has become a favorite metal/color combination in collectors circles as of late. And it appears Beckham has joined the trend as well. We spotted the former footballer wearing the Rolex Day-Date 40 in Everose gold (rose gold) white olive green dial, roman numeral hour indices and diamond-set bezel. This Day-Date is fitted to Rolex’s legendary president bracelet (also in rose gold). The Rolex Day-Date 40 Ref. 116688-0002 retails for $58,700 USD.
David Beckham’s Vintage Rolex GMT-Master
Beckham’s love of Rolex extends beyond modern pieces to vintage models as well. He has been spotted wearing a vintage two-tone Rolex GMT-Master with brown bezel, brown dial, and “nipple” hour markers. While this watch, Ref. 1675/3, is typically found on either a jubilee bracelet or oyster bracelet, Beckham is wearing his on a bund strap. The Rolex GMT-Master 1675 was produced in the 1970s and sells on the secondary market for around $14,000 USD.
David Beckham’s Blacked Out Custom Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller
Beckham has actually been spotted wearing a second Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller. However, this piece all black and PVD-coated and Rolex has never actually produced such a watch. Beckham’s watch is actually a customized Rolex. Many companies have popped up in recent years that solely customize Rolex. Bamford was the first (though they no longer customize Rolex), but there are also other companies around such as Artisans de Geneve and MAD Paris. We are not sure who actually customized Beckham’s Deepsea, but we think it fits with his classic black tee.
David Beckham’s Tudor Black Bay Chrono
If you have seen Beckham recently, chances are he was wearing a Tudor. That’s because Beckham has been a Tudor ambassador since 2017 when the brand announced the partnership at Baselworld. Tudor is actually owned by Rolex but offers high quality Swiss made watches at a lower pricepoint than Rolex. One of things Tudor has done exceptionally well in recent years is offer a great mix of vintage style with modern upgrades. That can be seen in many of their watches, including the Tudor Black Bay Chrono (which Beckham has worn). They Black Bay Chronograph is something of a baby brother to the Rolex Daytona, including similarities like the bezel and screw down chronograph pushers. Unlike the Daytona, which has a ceramic bezel, the Tudor goes old school with an aluminum bezel. It also only has two subdials, as opposed to three. The bracelet is riveted, something that yells vintage-inspired, and that Tudor has brought back to multiple models in recent years. The Tudor Black Bay Chrono Ref. 79360N-0001 retails for $5,450 USD on stainless steel bracelet.
David Beckham’s Tudor Black Bay Chrono S&G
While Tudor is less expensive than Rolex, they still make watches in precious metals (well gold). There are some great two-tone Tudors models being produced, and Beckham would obviously agree. He has been seen wearing the Tudor Black Bay Chrono S&G (S&G for steel and gold). As we have previously mentioned, Beckham likes the leather bund strap. And luckily for him the Black Bay Chronograph S&G is offered on a brown leather strap. The watch has yellow gold accents, including yellow gold subdials as well as a yellow gold crown and chronograph pushers. The Tudor Black Bay Chrono S&G Ref. 79360N-0001 retails for $6,225 USD on bund strap.
David Beckham’s Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue
The final Tudor chronograph we are featuring from Beckham’s collection is another heritage, vintage inspired model. The Tudor Heritatge Chrono Blue was inspired by the Tudor Montecarlo Ref. 7149/0. The vintage Tudor Montecarlos of the 1970s have become pretty desirable in collectors markets, selling for $20,000 USD and up. That’s quite a lot for a Tudor. So if you like the 70s design aesthetic but want something a little more affordable, the Tudor Heritage Chronograph Blue retails for $4,675 USD.
David Beckham’s Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Blue
When first introduced in 2012, the Black Bay was immediately a hit. The watch offered a less expensive dive watch alternative to the Rolex Submariner with some vintage aesthetics. At 41mm the original Black Bay was wearable but a bit large for a watch that evoked 1950s vibes. Enter the Black Bay Fifty-Eight. The Black Bay Fifty-Eight is slimmed down to 39mm and is thinner than its predecessor as well. The watch comes on the riveted bracelet and is water resistant to 200 meters. If you want a fairly affordable diver watch that Beckham has worn, the Black-Bay Fifty-Eight will set you back $3,950 USD.
David Beckham’s Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze
At Wrist Enthusiast we are big fans of bronze watches, especially untreated bronze watches that will patina over time. This gives the watch character and a uniqueness that is not found in most modern day pieces. Beckham has been spotted wearing the Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze with matte brown dial and brown bezel. This boutique edition is only available in select brick and mortar stores and retails for $4,775 USD on bronze bracelet (and comes with NATO strap).
David Beckham’s Custom Tudor Pelagos Inter Miami
If you are a Tudor ambassador you would probably expect some perks right? Well, we spotted the Inter Miami FC President wearing a custom Tudor Pelagos with the Inter Miami seal at 6 o’clock on the dial. Beckham joined Inter Miami as President and minority owner in 2021. As president of Inter Miami, Beckham has spent a lot of time trying to lure Lionel Messi to the MLS (Messi is a fellow watch collector). While you can’t get Beckham’s custom Pelagos, you can pick up the same watch without the Inter Miami seal, Ref. 25600TN-0001, for $4,925 USD. The Pelagos is 42mm, comes on a titanium bracelet and is waterproof to 500 meters (1,640 ft).
David Beckham’s Tudor Royal
Tudor also has options for those looking for a dress watch. The Tudor Prince is a cost-effective alternative to the Rolex Day-Date which is only offered in precious metals. Beckham was spotted wearing our favorite variation of the Royal with sunray blue dial and roman numeral hour markers. In addition, the Royal features the day and date, as well as a notched bezel (as opposed to a fluted bezel), as well as a unique stainless steel bracelet design that reminds us of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. The Tudor Royal is actually pretty affordable. It retails for $2,450 USD.
David Beckham’s Jacob & Co. Global 3
We have spent a lot of time discussing Beckham’s Rolex and Tudors, but he has been spotted wearing other brands as well. Beckham has been seen wearing the innovative Jacob & Co. Global 3 which features 5 different small subdials all with their own crown (similar to the Jacob & Co. Five Time Zones). The watch showcases the wearer’s home time as well the time in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Paris. The Jacob & Co. Global 3 has been discontinued and rarely come up for sale on the secondary market. For that reason, it is hard to put a market price on the timepiece.
David Beckham’s Breitling TransOcean Unitime Chronograph
Up until 2016, and before he signed on as a Tudor ambassador in 2017, Beckham was an ambassador for Breitling. One of the Breitling watches we’ve seen him wear is the Transocean Unitime Chronograph. The watch features a chronograph and worldtimer that is uniquely controlled through the crown. This allows the wearer to see the time in 24 different timezones at once. The Breitling TransOcean Unitime Chronograph is available on the secondary market for around $4,500 USD.
David Beckham’s Patek Philippe Celestial 6102P
Beckham has also been spotted wearing the super complicated Patek Philippe Celestial Ref. 6102P. The Celestial was first released in 2015 and showcases a decorated blue sapphire dial with rotating chart of heavenly bodies. This shows the wearer an image of the northern hemisphere’s night sky on any given day. It’s truly both a unique and special piece. The Patek Philippe Sky Moon Celestial 6102P has a retail price of $345,380 USD.
Victoria Beckham’s Rolex Daytona Rose Gold Ref. 116505
David Beckham isn’t the only one in his family that collects watches. So we thought we would go through a few pieces that we have seen family members of the soccer star wear. Just as famous as Beckham himself, is his popstar wife, Victoria Beckham formerly Posh Spice of the Spice Girls. The singer and fashion designer has been spotted wearing Patek Philippe and Rolex, including the Everose gold Rolex Daytona Ref. 116505-0016 with sundust and black dial. This piece retails for a hefty $41,600 USD.
Brooklyn Beckham’s Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1R-001
David and Victoria Beckham’s good taste in watches clearly passed down to their children. Their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, has often been spotted wearing the rose gold Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1R-001 with brown sunray dial. The Nautilus Ref. 5711/1R-001 has been discontinued by Patek Philippe, but you can pick one up on the secondary market for around $200,000 USD.
Romeo Beckham’s Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time 5164A-001
Like his older brother, Romeo (David’s second-oldest child) has an appreciation of Patek Philippe. He was spotted wearing the stainless steel Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time Ref. 5164A-001. The Travel Time Ref. 5164 e features an additional a skeletonized hour hand to display the second time zone. Additionally, when you set the local or home time it’ll be indicated by the small aperture on the dial. The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time retails for $42,580 USD.
Cruz Beckham’s Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi 126710BLRO
Victoria and David Beckham’s youngest son (and second youngest child) Cruz Beckham, also has been seen wearing some nice timepieces. Like his father, Cruz is a big fan of Rolex. We’ve seen Cruz wearing the classic stainless steel Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi. The GMT-Master II Pepsi features a blue and red bezel, hence the nickname given to the watch by collectors. While the Pepsi is now offered on both jubilee bracelet and oyster bracelet, Cruz’s Pepsi is on the jubilee bracelet (which we prefer). The Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi Ref. 126710BLRO retails for $10,900 USD.
