H. Moser Presents an All-New Endeavor Perpetual Calendar Limited Edition
We’ve seen alot of fantastic releases to kick of 2022. It’s been so hard to keep up, that a lot of new models are getting lost and eclipse by the next best thing being released. H. Moser, however, has entered 2022 with two new Perpetual Calendar Models into the Endeavor Collection - Both sport a “Funky Blue” dial, but one, labeled the “Tutorial” has everyone buzzing with excitement at a very non-traditional watch.

THE JUICE:
By nature, the Endeavor collection within H. Moser’s catelogue has defined itself by by it’s minimalist nature. It’s bare-bones approach to a Perpetual Calendar complication has landed them a heavy hitter in enthusiast circles. The dial, typically a high contrast fume style, presents very basic display components. You have a small pointer hand in the middle that acts as a month indicator, a large date window at 3 o’ clock, and a running seconds hand at the bottom of the dial.
With the Endeavor Tutorial, however, Moser has opted to quite literally display their notes right on the dial. The notes include everything from how long the Power Reserve lasts, length of the handsets, how to use the crown, etc… Each note adds a playful wink-wink-nod-nod design element to a dial that has historically been as minimal as possible. As busy as it might appear, the notes are subtle enough, and the handsets are thick enough that it doesn’t appear telling the time will be all that difficult considering the extra, er… “Pizzazz” added to the dial.
Inside the Endeavor Perpetual Calendar is the in-house HM-800 Manufacture Calibre. The formidable movement features a 7-day power reserve, a 32 jewels, and beats at 18,800 VpH.
Typing the whole package together is a light brown Kudo Leather Strap. Ludo is an antelope leather from Africa and is characterized by its soft, but strong nature. Having dealt with Kudo leather in the past, I can attest to it’s unique texture and hue, and also it’s comfort.
This is a fun addition for H. Moser. The Endeavor Collection has always had some extra spice to it (I recently covered the Endeavor Total Eclipse) when it comes to adding a little spark to their catalogue. I’ve noticed a lot of enthusiasts saying this feels like H. Moser has it’s pants down, but I vehemently disagree. This is a fun way to display the inner-workings of a watch in production, and not an obnoxious way to do it either.
How much is the H. Moser & Cie Endeavor Perpetual Calendar and Perpetual Calendar “Tutorial”?
Price for the Endeavor Perpetual Calendar “Funky Blue” is $54,000 USD, while price for the Perpetual Calendar “Tutorial” will be $59,000 USD and be limited to 20 Pieces.
