Introducing the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Geographic

###

Jaeger-LeCoultre has been flexing a little harder lately and I’m absolutely here for it. Their latest? The 2025 Reverso Tribute Geographic. This isn’t just another dial color update or a “limited edition” with a new strap. This is the Reverso doing what it’s always done best: blending technical sophistication with straight-up beautiful watchmaking.

This piece takes one of the most charming complications out there— the world time—and wraps it up in a very Reverso package. You get a classic Tribute-style front dial with a big date and small seconds, then flip it over and bam: a full world time display carved into the backplate of the case. It’s clever, it’s refined, and it doesn’t try to be louder than it needs to be. That’s very Jaeger. And it’s even more special, as this is the first time that the Reverso Tribute line has been allowed to sport a world time complication.

The Juice

Let’s talk about why this thing actually matters. World timers are kind of the dream complication for people who don’t really need complications but still want to feel like they’re part of the jet set. I say that as someone who absolutely falls into that camp. Don’t get me wrong, tehy are super functional, but there’s something about looking down at your wrist and seeing an entire map of time zones that makes you feel like you’ve got somewhere to be, even if you’re just waiting for your espresso.

The Calibre 834 is totally new and, more importantly, completely integrated. That’s a big deal in a watch like the Reverso, where the rectangular shape leaves zero room for add-on modules or off-the-shelf solutions. Everything in this movement, from the jumping hour world time ring to the patented side-by-side Grande Date mechanism, was designed specifically to fit this case.

The execution is killer. On the front, you’ve got that clean Tribute aesthetic: blue sunray for the steel version, chocolate brown for the pink gold. It’s balanced and measured, with the large date nestled in a polished frame that echoes the case shape. Flip it over and you get the showstopper: the world map, cut from steel, laser-engraved, hand-lacquered, and finished to a ridiculous degree. The oceans are hand-filled drop by drop with lacquer via syringe.

The city ring is static (a nice touch for legibility, something that can be overlooked on such a complex piece), while the 24-hour ring rotates. A hidden pusher up top lets you adjust the time zone with a sharp one-hour jump—clean, satisfying, and free of fiddly crown gymnastics. The way the time zones are laid out on three levels gives it real depth, like a little mechanical topographical map.

The steel model leans cooler, with blue tones and silver contrast. The pink gold? That one’s moodier, pairing its case with black and grey for more of a travel-by-lantern vibe. Both come with two Casa Fagliano straps, which honestly makes every version feel a little more personal and thought-through.

Final Thoughts

The Reverso Tribute Geographic is the kind of watch that reminds you why the JLC are so important. This piece is Jaeger-LeCoultre doing what it does best: making complicated, elegant watches with a point of view. The dual-dial format has always been a perfect match for travel watches, but here it finally feels fully realized. You get the practical elegance of a clean front face, and on the reverse, a real world timer that doesn’t just look cool—it works smart, too.

It won’t be for everyone (Reversos never are), but for those who love them, this is a travel watch that deserves every ounce of affection and attention it gets. And in a landscape where “luxury” often means “loud,” this watch’s sublime subtlety is exactly what makes it special.
