Wrist Enthusiast started in 2015 when…

Founder Craig Karger was still a lawyer, practicing as a commercial litigator. Craig had been collecting watches for most of his life and wanted to find a way to share his passion with other collectors and hobbyists.

For years Craig grew the Wrist Enthusiast Instagram account without any further ambitions until he realized that the watch industry and watch collecting was his true passion.

Craig also saw that there was a gap in the watch collecting community for a place that was accessible to both new and seasoned collectors alike. Craig aimed to create a blog (and brand) that was equally informative and digestible to anyone know matter how advance their watch collecting journey was. This was the beginning of the the Wrist Enthusiast Blog in 2021.

More recently, Wrist Enthusiast has expanded to a team of writers and editors, as well as to YouTube. Through the blog, Instagram and YouTube, Craig and the Wrist Enthusiast aim to inform and educate watch collectors through watch buying guides, interviews, watch reviews and news.

Even though Wrist Enthusiast has grown in size and reach, Craig and the team aim to keep their coverage unpretentious, interesting and easily digestible by any level of watch collector.
