THE JUICE:
Jaeger-Lecoultre's design expertise really shows through in their new releases. The Polaris Perpetual Calendar certainly doesn’t fail to impress with its in-house perpetual calendar movement, not to mention a 70-hour power reserve. That comes in handy for many enthusiasts, you could take the watch off on Friday night, and pick it back up Monday morning ready to go.
The Polaris line from JLC has always had a sporty style, but never before did we see JLC showing off one of their most high-end complications with that Polaris style. What you get from this combination is a sporty piece of horological mastery. Making a wearable and attractive sports watch with a high-end complication is no easy feat, there could be many simple design flaws that make the watch massively unattractive. The dial could have easily been cluttered with all the complications, but JLC impresses once again with a very well-balanced watch.
JLC created a very sporty, attractive, well-balanced watch with a high horology complication, but it also doesn’t overwhelm the viewer with information. They seem to be flexing their horological muscles with this release, showing off their mastery of design.
