Pharrell’s Watch Collection including Richard Mille Watches

Pharrell Williams has achieve superstar status as a singer and record producer, including such hit songs as Happy. Because of his success, Williams has amassed a fortune in excess of $250 Million Dollars. Ever since he rose to fame, Pharrell has spent a lot of time in the fashion world, including accumulating quite the watch collection. His collection includes ultra-high end brands like Richard Mille and Jacob & Co. as well as luxury stalwart Audemars Piguet. Let’s take a look at Pharrell’s watch collection which is worth well in excess of $10 million dollars.

Pharrell’s Richard Mille RM 52-01 Tourbillon Skull

Over the recent years Pharrell has mostly been seen wearing various Richard Mille watches. One of the first we’ve seen him wearing is the RM 52-01 Tourbillon Skull. The most visible aspect of the RM 52-01 is the large rose gold skull in the center of the dial. The watch features a ceramic case and manual wind movement and is a limited edition of 30 pieces. The current market value is around $1,000,000 USD.

Pharrell’s Richard Mille RM 52-05 Tourbillon Pharrell Williams

Perhaps Pharrell’s most recognizable Richard Mille is the watch he designed in collaboration with the brand. The Richard Mille RM 52-05 Tourbillon Pharrell Williams features an astronaut on the dial. Reflected in the astronaut’s visor is the Martian landscape as well as Earth in a distance. Pharrell is a big space nerd (though he says he doesn’t want to go), so it makes sense that he would design a watch like this. This watch is limited to just 30 pieces and retailed for $969,000 USD. On the secondary market, however, the RM 52-05 Pharrell Williams is selling for over $2 Million Dollars.

Pharrell’s Richard Mille RM 70-01 Tourbillon Alain Prost

When it comes to funky, asymmetrical watch designs, you probably think of the Cartier Crash. Well, Richard Mille ‘s entrant into this very specific niche is the RM 70-01 Tourbillon Alain Prost. The watch was designed in collaboration with Richard Mille’s close friend and retired F1 racing driver Alain Prost. While Prost was a racecar driver, the watch was actually designed with cycling in mind. The watch features a totalizer that track miles or kilometers traveled. When released in 2017 the RM 70-01 retailed for $815,500 USD.

Pharrell’s Richard Mille RM 88 Tourbillon Smiley

One of the more interesting pieces we’ve seen Pharrell wearing is the RM 88 Tourbillon Smiley. This watch was released recently to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the licensing of the smiley face, which was originally designed by Frank Loufrani in 1971. The watch is limited to just 50 pieces but since Pharrell is a Richard Mille collector and collaborator, it makes sense he’d he allocated one. This piece retails for $1.2 Million USD but the market price appears to be three times that price at $3.7 Million USD.

Pharrell’s Richard Mille RM 25-01 Tourbillon Chronograph Adventure

Richard Mille is known for their signature tonneau case shape. However, the brand does have offerings in other shapes, including the the RM 25-01 Tourbillon Chronograph. Limited to 20 pieces the watch is sometimes referred to as the Sylvester Stallone as he had one in his collection. The watch currently is listed on the secondary market for around $1 Million Dollars.

Pharrell’s Richard Mille RM 74-02 Automatic Winding Tourbillon

Another interesting Richard Mille that Pharrell has been seen wearing is the RM 74-02 Automatic Winding Tourbillon. Beyond being an automatic watch (as opposed to manual wind), the case of the RM 74-02 is made of rose gold and gold Carbon TPT. Gold Carbon TPT is made by layering alternating sheets of carbon and gold. It also gives the watch a unique look. Pharrell’s RM 74-02 is fitted on a Richard Mille open link bracelet. You rarely see Richard Mille timepieces on these bracelets. The RM 74-02 Automatic Winding Tourbillon retails for $620,000 USD.

Pharrell’s Richard Mille RM 056 Felipe Massa Tourbillon Chronograph Split Seconds

At Wrist Enthusiast we are fans of watches with sapphire cases. Beyond the unique aesthetic of these watches, the technical achievement needed to manufacture these watches is quite the achievement. Pharrell has been seen wearing the sapphire Richard Mille RM 056 Felipe Massa Tourbillon Split Seconds. This watch has a lot going on. Beyond having a tourbillon movement, it also has split seconds and chronography functionality. This makes sense given that the watch was designed in collaboration with Brazilian motorcar racer Felipe Massa. Price estimates on the secondary market for the RM 056 are around $5 Million Dollars.

Pharrell’s Richard Mille RM 17-01 Tourbillon

The final Richard Mille we are featuring from Pharrell’s collection is the RM 17-01 Tourbillon. This piece features a rose gold case and fully covered with baguette-cut diamonds. This RM 17-01 is powered by a manual winding tourbillon movement with power-reserve and function indicators.

Pharrell’s Jacob & Co. Five Time Zone

Pharrell has been collecting watches for a long time, long before he was ever seen wearing a Richard Mille. One of the first watches we’ve spotted Pharrell wearing is the diamond-encrusted Jacob & Co. Five Time Zone. Like its name implies, the Five Time Zone allows for the wearer to set the watch two five different times. The main home time is displayed on the main dial, while there are 4 additional subdials each with hour and minute hands as well as individual crowns to set their times. While the Five Time Zone is no longer in production, it is one of the watches that really set Jacob & Co. apart.

Pharrell’s Jacob & Co. Rainbow Tourbillon

The other Jacob & Co. timepiece we’ve spotted Pharrell wearing is another gem-set piece, the Jacob & Co. Rainbow Tourbillon. This watch features a tourbillon as well as four separate timezones (indicated by 3 24-hour subdials). The case and dial are also covered completely with baguette-cut rubies. The estimated secondary market price of this piece is $1,500,000 USD.

Pharrell’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked 25636

We have also spotted Pharrell wearing a couple of Audemas Piguet timepieces. One of our favorites is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked Ref. 25636. This yellow gold piece features perpetual calendar, moonphase as well as an openworked, skeleton dial that showcases the finished movement. Pharrell auctioned off this watch back in 2022. If you are looking to buy a Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked Ref. 25636, expect to pay around $200,000 USD.

Pharrell’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Carbon Tourbillon

One of the more interesting Royal Oaks we’ve seen Pharrell wearing is the Royal Oak Concept Carbon Tourbillon. While the bezel is reminiscent of the original Gerald Genta designed Royal Oak, the rest of the watch looks like something out of Star Trek. The skeletonized dial features a power reserve indicator as well as a function indicator. Overall, this carbon watch is a blend of 70s and futuristic aesthetics. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Carbon Tourbillon Ref. 26265FO is currently available on the grey market for around $200,000 USD.

Pharrell’s Apple Watch

With all the expensive watches we’ve featured from Pharrell’s collection, you are probably wondering if Pharrell owns anything more affordable. The one affordable watch we’ve spotted Pharrell wearing (on multiple occasions) is an Apple Watch. The Apple Watch might be the most popular watch currently on the market given all its functionality. You can pick up an Apple Watch from $399 USD to $1,509 USD depending on model.
