Watch Spotting Oris Watches on Country Music Stars
There are few genres of music more American than country. But did you know that some of country's biggest stars are fans of Swiss watches? As you could imagine, country music artists need tough timepieces that can keep ticking throughout their tours, as well as during their time in the great American outdoors.
Because of their need for durable watches that are both attractive and versatile, many have become fans of the Swiss brand Oris. Let's take a look at who we’ve spotted wearing the newest gems from Oris recently.
Colt Ford Wearing the Oris X Momotaro Divers Sixty-Five
"Even a Country boy can wear this Oris watch... The real deal, baby!" That's what Colt Ford posted about his beloved Oris. One of his favorites is the Oris X Momotaro Divers Sixty-Five. If you've followed Colt Ford for long, you know he tells it like it is, and is all into breaking out of the mold.
Colt Ford Wearing the Two-Tone Oris Aquis Date with Green Dial
Ford has posted about two different Oris models but both appear to have dials in the blue-green family. He also appears to be into two-tone watches, as both of his Oris models include stainless steel and gold highlights.
Mitch Rossell Wearing the Oris Divers Carl Brashear
Mitch Rossell is a man of many talents and his talents propelled him all the way to the stage of America's Got Talent. During his breathtaking performance, he can be seen wearing a breathtaking timepiece - the Oris Carl Brashear Calibre 401 Limited Edition. This watch is on his wrist during that performance and many others - it's clearly a favorite of his. The bronze case is recognizable and unique, as is the NATO-style blue textile strap.
One of the most impressive aspects of Rossell's watch choice is its inherent durability. He is seen wearing his Oris in posts while he holds his kids, plays his guitar, and is out on tour. Interestingly enough, about a year ago we saw Mitch wearing another Oris model with a traditional, stainless steel bracelet. It seems like Rossell is proud to wear his watches.
Tyler Hubbard Wearing the Two-Tone Oris Aquis Date with Green Dial
One of country music's favorite voices, Tyler Hubbard, formerly of Florida-Georgia Line, is a big-time Oris fan. Hubbard is all about living his life in a loud and bold way, and his Oris lines up with that. He typically wears his Aquis BiCo, with its vibrant green dial and stainless steel bracelet.
Over the years, Hubbard has posted dozens of photos and videos depicting other timepieces in his watch collection. We've seen photos of Hubbard wearing what appear to be some other Oris models over his many years of touring.
Mitchell Tenpenny Wearing the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Hank Aaron
Sometimes a legend in the making needs to follow in the footsteps of another. Such is the case with country music's Mitchell Tenpenny, wearing the Oris Hank Aaron Limited Edition. Tenpenny is no rookie to country music or to watches. He is, after all, a self-reported watch enthusiast.
Tenpenny appears to have multiple Oris models in his collection, as we’ve also seen him in the Aquis Calibre 400 in green as well as in the Bronze Pointer Date. But recently, Mitchell has been spotted with the Oris Hank Aaron Limited Edition, and we won’t lie, it looks great.
Mitchell Tenpenny Wearing the Oris Aquis Calibre 400 With Green Dial
The Green Aquis is definitely a fan favorite in the Country Music industry. As Mitchell Tenpenny’s next go-to is the Oris Aqus Calibre 400. A solid choice for the artist.
Mitchell Tenpenny Wearing the Oris ProPilot X Salmon
A less obvious choice, and definitely one that stands out from the rest of the crowd is the Oris ProPilot X Salmon. The light titanium case mixed with a beautiful matte salmon dial, just makes for a great watch. While this watch is definitely on the sportier side, we still think it works great for an event like the Country Music Awards. Read our full review of the Oris ProPilot X here.
Chase Rice Wearing the Oris Aquise Calibre 400
It's safe to say that country music singer Chase Rice is a huge watch guy. He has been spotted in several different watches recently and he even has a field watch created in his honor (by Weiss). It's no surprise that Chase has added Oris to his list of favorites. We've spotted Chase in a green Oris Aquis Calibre 400, which looks phenomenal on stage.
A man of varied tastes, Rice has been known to wear a white Rolex Daytona in honor of his dad, who used to race in Daytona, FL. But when one of the country's hottest stars needs to change it up and add a pop of color, he turns to Oris.
Logan Crosby Wearing the Oris ProPilot X Calibre 400
One of country music's newest stars, Logan Crosby has been known to like his watches. The up-and-coming cousin of Jason Aldean, Crosby went from being the runner-up on reality show "Claim to Fame" to opening for Megan Moroney on the big stage. In the whirlwind that has been his 2022-2023, Crosby has found a dependable constant - his Oris. He sports a ProPilot X Calibre 400 with a blue dial.
Just 2 months after releasing his first EP, Crosby is sure to be in for a wild ride. It seems like, as far as his watch selection is concerned, he's picked a pretty solid companion. As his career unfolds, we're excited to see if he adds more Oris models to his collection. Read our full review of the Pro Pilot here.
Lainey Wilson wearing the oris upcycle
Lainey Wilson was recently seen wearing one of the more recent Oris releases with the Oris Upcycle. Oris has really done some cool things with recycled plastics to create some truly unique dials. With a lot of attention being brought to the importance of keeping our oceans clean, it’s nice to see someone as high profile as Lainey giving the Upcycle the recognition it deserves.
Megan Moroney Wearing an Oris Bracenet
Logan Crosby, longtime fan of Oris and their brand, recently gifted his tourmate Megan Moroney an Oris Bracenet while on Tour. Bracenet has largely been known for making sustainable bracelets out of fishing nets, but has collaborated with Oris to create these beautiful dial’s for the Aquis diver collection.
